We took a short weekend away to the Oregon Coast in late September. It was much needed! We stopped at Multnomah Falls (just like we used to when we first started dating) and Memaloose Island (a very interesting new site for us) along the way. We went to Seaside and down to Cannon Beach. We also went along the coast down to Rockaway Beach, the Tillamook Cheese Factory where we got to taste test cheeses (Matt's dream come true) and then we ventured out to the lighthouse at Cape Meares which was really a gorgeous view of the ocean.
It was just nice to get away and feel our toes in the sand, eat some saltwater taffy and breathe in the ocean for a while. Now Landon has not only been in my belly walking from the Space Needle in Seattle all the way along the pier and to Safeco Field, but now he has ventured the Oregon Coast. Where will he go next?!
